Sleeping in Idyllic Palawan

No, this does not mean you go to Palawan just to sleep! But really, you do need to plan this part, before or at the same time you book your flight. Palawan is a big place and, you have a lot of options on where to stay.

First things first – what do you want to not miss out on during this trip? Of course, Palawan, as the Philippines’ biggest nature sanctuary offers a myriad of nature-related activities and a lot of water-related pursuits. And, there are places of historical interest as well. Most accommodations, especially the ones included in tour packages will have just about everything you need – transportation, meals, Internet, television, and more importantly – air conditioning!

If you’ve decided to sample at least one of everything, you might as well stay in Puerto Princesa, the current capital of the Palawan islands. From here, you can just about do anything that you’d like. You can also choose to stay in Coron, another area that is fast becoming a top tourist destination. If it’s wide stretches of beaches you want, there’s El Nido and Amanpulo. For the best accommodations, and a tour package to boot, see Amika Travel and Tours Palawan packages and stop worrying about this right now!

Making the Most of Your Palawan Trip

There are just so many things to do in Palawan, and probably such a short time to do them all for a vacationer like you. The best way to really make the most out of your trip is to plan, plan, plan!

Firstly, how many days are you staying? A 3-day stay can only accommodate about three big activities so, you’ll have to choose carefully which places you really want to experience. Since most flights from Manila come in early anyway, you’ll have most of your first day free especially if you’ve already booked a resort or a hotel. If you’ve chosen to stay in the city, you better start by touring the area so, you get acquainted with the basic things you’ll need such as where to eat, how to get around, or where to buy souvenirs. You can also start deciding on what to do for Day 2.

The second day should always start early, in order for you to get to the fantastic places. Remember that this is the only full day you’ll be in Palawan so get up even before your alarm goes off! See the Underground River or go on an island-hopping trip on this day! Your last day shouldn’t be so hectic because you need to get ready for your flight back. Best tip: hire a vehicle and maybe go to the white sands of Nagtabon beach, relax, and get a bit of tan. Want a hassle-free vacation and itinerary? Check out Amika Travel and Tours package.
